2016:
Oh my, what a busy year we've had. Lots of travel, lots of weddings, lots of growing. We spent quite a bit of time at the lakehouse this year, Donna is getting used to country living.
Great-grandma (Gigi) came to visit for Easter, and for a week at Labor day. We traveled to Chicago for the Jim McKernin Biannual Memorial Golf Outing. Pam, Mary, Steve, & CJ came to visit and spend time at the lake. We got the boats running and spent time in the water.
We traveled to Kansas City for Erin and Hal's wedding, and then to Chicago for Kristen and Nick's wedding. Shannon moved into a new appartment within walking distance to work.
Devon and Jess were married on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in October on the shores of the Potomac River. Most of the family came for the wedding and we put everybody up at the lakehouse due to our generous neighbors. Devon started a new job, also much closer to home.
Ethan has been growing like a weed. He's a smart, courious, and happy little boy.
All in all, we have been blessed with happiness this year. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! .
